You can start at any of the locations below and ride the route clockwise. Donations made at these stops go directly back to the schools — a proud tradition the Randonnee continues under Mountbatten's organisation. Road safety information for the Isle of Wight Randonnee 2026 with Mountbatten Isle of Wight β οΈ Open road event: The Isle of Wight Randonnee is held on open public roads. Normal traffic applies throughout. This is not a closed road event. Rules of the road: β Follow the Highway Code at all times β Ride on open roads — this is not a closed road event β Be respectful of other road users, pedestrians and local residents β Riders aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian β Ride safely and adjust your pace in poor weather conditions β You are representing the spirit of this community event Your bike No specific type of bike is required.
