How to find us

Our hospice building, which includes the inpatient unit, John Cheverton Centre, and Sunflower Cafe is at:

Halberry Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 2ER.

🚗By car

Mountbatten Hospice is a short distance from Newport town centre. Onsite parking is free of charge but can be limited during peak times.

🚌By bus

Southern Vectis routes 9, 5, and 39 stop close to the hospice. Click here to visit Southern Vectis' website for timetable information.

Visiting and opening hours

Inpatient unit:

🕧 Visitors are welcome to visit a loved one on our inpatient unit any time of day or night, seven days a week. Outside of reception hours (8am - 8pm), use the intercom to the right of the main entrance to gain access.

John Cheverton Centre:

🕧 Reception hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday. The centre is also open on various evenings for events and social groups.

Sunflower Cafe (in the John Cheverton Centre):

🕧 9am to 4pm Monday - Friday. 8.30am to 1pm on Saturdays. 10am - 4pm on Sundays.
