By the end of this course in bereavement supporting adults,  you will be able to:
  • Describe psychological theories of loss and bereavement
  • Understand the common reactions to bereavement for individuals and families
  • Review and apply positive communication skills when working with people who are bereaved
  • Know the principles positive of self-care

Cancellation policy:

We understand that sometimes it is necessary to change plans. However, to ensure our costs are covered in the event of cancellation the following charges will apply.

  • Cancellations (and requests to transfer bookings to another date) made with at least 8 weeks’ notice will incur a £25 administration fee.
  • No refund of course fees (partial or full) will be available where notice to cancel is received within 8 weeks of the course start date, or in the event of non-attendance or partial attendance.

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, Mountbatten cancels a course you will be given the option to transfer your booking or receive a full refund of the course fees.
