Mountbatten delighted to welcome Isle of Wight businesses to networking event Mountbatten Isle of Wight's John Cheverton Centre community space has hosted the charity's first dedicated business breakfast. Representatives from a host of local organisations gathered to hear from the hospice group's CEO, Becky McGregor. Partnership building was the aim of the game and there were tours for those who had not previously visited the community and art gallery space, cafe and dedicated inpatient unit, in Newport's Halberry Lane. Community Fundraising lead, Charlotte Hornblow, said: "We were delighted to welcome business people to our hospice in Newport. It was a brilliant opportunity to share ideas for 2026. "Businesses can play a key role in supporting Mountbatten, whether this is through our Corporate Partnership Scheme, volunteering time or getting together with colleagues to take part in fundraising events. "Thanks so much for taking the time to come and meet us!" If you missed the Business Breakfast, there are plans for another in the Spring.
