Director of People Services, David has responsibility for overseeing Mountbatten’s staff and volunteers, both on the Isle of Wight and in Hampshire.

This includes the whole employee and volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment and induction, workforce development and planning, with particular focus on wellbeing and engagement.

David also oversees education and research and chairs the Policy and Procedure Group.

David has over 25 years’ experience working in corporate strategy and policy development, alongside human resources and organisational development, including collaborating with the charity and health care sectors.

In 2017 David gained an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development).
