By car

If you are coming to visit the John Cheverton Centre, there is parking available at the entrance to the centre, including some 'Blue Badge' spaces and a pick up/drop off point.

You will see the John Cheverton Centre sign and arrow as you drive onto the site.

We encourage everyone to use their own transport, or public transport, or taxis, but where necessary our volunteers may be able to provide transport for those without their own means.

There is also parking for staff, volunteers and visitors in two other on-site car parks, but the site is very busy and you may need to park in the residential streets nearby.

If you are coming to stay on the Inpatient Unit and you do not have transport, or are unable to use a taxi then please liaise with the person arranging your admission and they will support you in getting here.

By bus

If using the frequent Route 9 between Newport and Ryde, or the Route 5 between East Cowes and Newport, you can get off at the Seaclose or Medina Leisure Centre stops and walk up Halberry Lane to the site. This will be less than half a mile in each case.

A slightly shorter walk is available using the hourly Route 39 from Newport Bus Station, if you get off at Atkinson Drive.
